This Taran Tactical Firepower Base Pad magazine extension is compatible with all .223 PMAGs and is designed to be reliable with the stock spring. Whether you want +5 in a standard 30 round or +6 in a 40 round mag, this magazine extension will perform excellently on the clock. Additionally, the heavier CNC machined aluminum base will help mags to drop freely for faster reloads. It only adds 1 inch of length so you can still effectively use your AR in the prone position without the magazine interfering with the ground. For installation, it features the TTI patented push pin design that makes assembly and disassembly a breeze if you need to clean or perform maintenance between stages. This model features a bright red anodized finish to help it stand out from the rest. Note: The pin set screws are set with Loctite and is not recommended to adjust them. Remove the metal insert at the bottom before installation.
